Frequently asked questions
How do I create an account?
Choose a nickname and a password on the sign-in page. No email address is needed — your nickname is your identity on the site.
How do I join a research thread?
Open the thread and choose Join. The research creator reviews every request; once accepted, you can read and take part in the thread's research activity.
How do I manage my research and contributions?
My research lists your threads, investigations, contributions, join requests and reviews. You can edit your own work there or from the thread page.
Who can see my work?
You choose the visibility of each investigation and contribution. Anonymous work never shows your nickname, and private investigations are visible only to you, site administrators, and collaborators you accept.
How do I report content?
Every thread, contribution, comment and progress update has a Report action. Reports go to the moderators, who never reveal who reported what.
I can't sign in. What can I do?
Passwords cannot be reset by email because no email address is collected. If you are locked out, raise a support ticket below as a guest and keep the reference and access code safe — an administrator can help you regain access.
