Scientific Commons is building a shared place where research questions, evidence and contributions can develop over time. We’re looking for universities, laboratories, funders and engineering organisations interested in supporting research themes, enabling wider participation and making scientific work easier to discover and build upon.
Support research beyond individual projects
Bring a research theme, a set of unresolved problems or an area of technical interest into the Commons. Help create a lasting record of related questions, existing evidence and ongoing investigations that can grow beyond a single project or publication.
Support independent scientific inquiry
Enable researchers to examine problems, test different approaches and share evidence on their own terms. Agree on funding, confidentiality, intellectual property and attribution upfront, without making support conditional on a predetermined conclusion.
Build a lasting research partnership
For universities, laboratories, funders and engineering R&D teams interested in supporting research themes, connecting wider communities to open problems or developing dedicated research spaces. We’re looking for early partners to explore sustainable ways to make this possible.
